There are so many ways to set courses up that will meet quality standards--so there is a of room left to how the instructor wants it set up. You might have little information on the homepage itself, then more detailed information in an orientation module. But some instructors put a lot of their orientation/getting started information on the homepage. The important thing is that the information is there and it is obvious to students.
