Efficacy means the percentage of people won’t get infected at all? And the other 25% might still get it but they won’t die or be hospitalized, so there is some protection?

Some anti-vaxxers are afraid of vaccines because, they say, vaccines “change our DNA”. Like other animals, humans are full of viruses that don’t cause any harm, and are regularly exposed to them? But they still get into and change a person’s DNA? No big deal.
Aren’t a majority of deaths the result of secondary respiratory bacterial infections? So, antibiotics then work?
Most mutations don’t impart any increased virulence? But the longer it stays in our populations, and people don’t get vaccinated, the more likely a bad mutation takes place?
